ما هو العبور الجنسي

العبور الجنسى هو:

أن يتصرف ويعبّر الشخص اجتماعياً أو جسدياً عن نفسه بما يشعر بأنه يوافق هويته الجندرية والتى تكون مختلفة عن الجنس الذى ولد عليه.

فى البداية يحدث العبور الاجتماعى وهو يتعلق بالتفاعل الاجتماعى مع باقى المجتمع، أولاً الإعلان أو ما يطلق عليه بالإنجليزية “Coming out”، و هو كيف ينادينا الناس وما هى الضمائر التى من المفترض بهم استخدامها فى التواصل معنا، أو تغيير الطريقة التى يتعامل بها الإنسان مع المساحات العامة مثل أماكن قضاء الحاجة مثلاً.

العبور الجسدى عادة ما يتضمن أن يغيّر الشخص مظهره الخارجي، وذلك يتضمن عادة الملابس، أو المكياج أو الشعر. من التغييرات الجسدية أيضا طلب المساعدة الطبية، سواء عن طريق الهرمونات أو الجراحة.

العبور دون إجراء جراحة يسمى “العبور الاجتماعي”، وبعد التدخلات الطبية يطلق عليه “العبور الجنسي”.

Trans-sexuality is:

How person behaves and expresses himself/herself, socially or physically, in what she/he feels consistent with his gender identity, which is different from the sex she/he was born with.

In the beginning, social transitioning occurs and it is related to social interaction with the rest of society, firstly what is called Coming out, how people call us and what pronouns they are supposed to use while communicating with us, or changing the way a person deals with public spaces such as restrooms.

Physical transition usually involves a person changing his/her external appearance, usually including clothing, make-up or hairstyle. One of the physical changes is also to seek medical help, whether through hormones or surgery.

Crossing without surgery is called “social transitioning” and after medical interventions, it is called “sexual transitioning”.
